About Mrs. Leveille
My name is Mrs. Alice Leveille. I am the Title I Reading Specialist at Pennoyer School. I have been teaching at Pennoyer School since 2003. Prior to teaching at Pennoyer School, I taught at three other schools within the primary grades. I enjoy teaching at Pennoyer because I am able to work with students in grades kindergarten through 8th grade. It is rewarding to see the personal and academic growth of my students as they move ahead in the grades.
After receiving my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education at Northeastern Illinois University, I decided to be a classroom teacher and work with a specific grade level. After many enjoyable and rewarding years of doing that, I decided to work towards getting my Master’s Degree in Reading in order to service students as a Reading Specialist. I received my Master’s Degree in Reading at Northeastern Illinois University. Currently, I am working towards certification in a multi-sensory language training program. My motto is: There’s always something new to learn!
